Refund/Cancellation Policy

Our policy on fee refunds, cancellations and withdrawal, as set out in the Mona School Fees Policy.

Draft for internal review — not yet legally approved. This page describes Mona Virtual School's current operating practices in plain language. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be relied on, or shown to families as final, until Mona's leadership approves it.

Refunds

Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, except for duplicate or over-payments, or where required by law.

Withdrawal

Withdrawing a learner from Mona requires at least 30 days' written notice. Any fees already due for that notice period remain payable.

Outstanding Balances

Outstanding balances must be cleared before a new month or term begins; some school services or reports may be withheld until payment is made.

Full Fees Policy

This page summarises the relevant points from our complete Fee Structure & Fees Policy, which should be read in full.

Decisions Mona still needs to make before this policy is final:

  • A specific step-by-step process for requesting and verifying a duplicate/overpayment refund (who to contact, what proof is needed, how long it takes) has not yet been documented.
