The terms governing enrolment at, and use of, Mona Virtual School.
Draft for internal review — not yet legally approved. This page describes Mona Virtual School's current operating practices in plain language. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be relied on, or shown to families as final, until Mona's leadership approves it.
Mona Virtual School delivers the Kenyan CBC/CBE curriculum fully online, from Grade 1 to Grade 12, organised as Primary School (Grades 1–6), Junior School (Grades 7–9) and Senior School (Grades 10–12).
Submitting an application does not automatically constitute admission. Admission is confirmed once an application has been reviewed and the required registration process, including payment of the admission fee, has been completed. See How to Enrol.
Tuition, the admission fee and optional programme charges are set out on our Fee Structure page, along with our fees policy. Fees may be reviewed from time to time, with reasonable notice to families.
Families are responsible for providing a suitable device, internet connection and learning space, as described on our Admission Requirements page.
Learners and families are expected to follow the guidance in our Student Handbook and Acceptable Use Policy while using Mona's platform and attending live lessons.
Mona Virtual School is not a registered examination centre. We teach, nurture and assess learners internally, helping them prepare for their next stage of learning. For learners sitting national examinations, Mona guides parents through registration with an approved examination centre; national examinations are taken at that centre, not at Mona.
We may update these terms from time to time as our programme develops. The current version will always be available on this page.
